Have you heard about the latest small business tools that will give you back your time, help you solve your biggest business challenges, and even automate all of your processes? Me, too. Pretty much every day, right? If you’re anything like me, you’re easily distracted by the latest and so-called greatest solutions. It’s easy to be enticed by shiny new objects — the ones that promise to solve it all.

Truth be told, I’m more of a minimalist when it comes to paying for subscriptions. So although I may test all the latest and greatest apps, my list of small business tools is not overloaded. I’m fairly selective and tend to choose the ones that make life easier and aren’t overly expensive.

As a solopreneur my time is limited. So for me it’s really got to be incredibly better than what I’m currently using. After many trials, the small business tools that make my cut for 2024:

  • Project Management: ClickUp
  • Proposals and Contracts: Dubsado
  • Scheduling: Google Calendar/Dubsado
Dubsado automatically books my client appointments which then connect to Google Calendar
  • Websites: Showit
I’ve been a loyal WordPress fan since 2010 and still feel it’s an incredible platform for websites. But I decided to test out Showit recently after hearing that it saves time when designing a website. So far I’m impressed. Look for my Showit review — coming soon!

Check back for additional recommendations. I’m testing a few different image providers now and will post results soon.
